John loved his wife Donna very much. They alway smoked, drank, and laughed outside in their plastic chairs. John was very sick and always needed a ride to the VA hospital in Fresno. He told bad jokes but Donna still laughed. They claimed to be part Choctaw Indian but looked white as can be. After John died Donna hung on for a while longer, but I never saw her drink or smoke outside in her plastic chair again.
